Product Mix Orthodox
Apart from manufacturing a very good standard of orthodox tea, this estate is very scenically located just off National Highway 49 and the elevation varies from 5000 feet to way above 6500 feet in Old Devikulam Division. Over the years 37.81 hectare of clonal tea have been added by way of No Tillage Replanting, Replacement Planting and Extension Planting. The estate is blessed with a beautiful lake with boating/fishing facilities which gets one close to nature as far as possible.
The manner in which Devikulam has set internal benchmark performance parameters for manufacture of orthodox teas has brought widespread recognition to Tata Tea's orthodox manufacture programme, as the best in class.
