Situated at 5500 feet from sea level, the Madupatty estate today has a fully automated computerised factory with a capacity to handle 55000 Kgs. green leaf every day. The R&D centre, High Range School & Indo Swiss Project are situated on this estate. One division of Madupatty estate was fully submerged in water in floods in 1929 in a place where Madupatty dam is situated now.
